Hot smoke tests in a road tunnel

Between May and July 2024, we were commissioned by Voltar System Sp. z o.o. to perform hot smoke tests in the new TS-26 road tunnel located in Lower Silesia, along the S3 expressway between Bolków and Kamienna Góra.

The tunnel consists of two tubes, each more than 2.3 km long. The tunnel is equipped with a number of safety systems, particularly fire safety systems.

The investor was GDDKiA and the general contractor was PORR S.A. The tunnel was opened to traffic on the 31st of July 2024.
