On 19 October 2023, we participated in a fire safety conference entitled ‘Working together to improve standards’. This conference was organised in Dublin by The Institution of Fire Engineers (Republic of Ireland Branch).
The conference brought together a wide range of fire safety professionals from Ireland and the UK and provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences. The conference was attended by fire safety specialists and engineers, representatives of companies offering active and passive fire protection, fire service officers and representatives of the academia.
A member of our team Piotr Smardz, delivered a paper on fire safety in high-rise and high rise buildings – ‘Fire Safety in the design, construction and use of high rise buildings – Central European Experience’.
