Thermal loading and heat transfer analysis for building structures.
We offer structural fire engineering services including determination of thermal conditions in compartments subject to fire, heat transfer analysis for structural members and also the mechanical analysis of structure behaviour at high temperatures. We use specialist software such as OZone and FEM model dedicated to structural fire engineering analysis called SAFIR. We have experience with all major types of structure including concrete, steel, masonry and timber. We can advise structural engineers on fire related phenomena such as concrete spalling, interaction of structural elements with fire-separating elements and also on the optimum ways to provide the required fire protection to structural elements.
